This arrangement has an impellor directly mounted onto the motor shaft. The motor is outside of the airstream. The hub of impellor protrudes from the casing. The fan is shown mounted onto an optional channel base. The channel Base comes in 2 variants, one with outriggers and one without. Outriggers enable easy drilling of foundation holes without having to mark and then move the fan.
There is a bung welded to the drive side of the casing, maximum air temperature is 250ºC with a 50mm bung and 300ºC with a 100mm bung). The impellor can be removed from inlet side only.
